My name is Barbara Daniels. This page is about me, life-desires.com and why I began this site. 

I'm not going to tell you a dramatic story about my life, because it's actually been very "normal". Like many people, I've tried to be a "good" person and make what we all consider "smart choices". Yet those "smart choices" seemed to keep me "just above broke" for much of my life.

My parents were great. They weren't overly religious, but they did go to church quite often. I tried to be religious, but nothing ever made sense to me. I just FELT that something was missing. There had to be more. My mom always said, "You live, you die, they dig a hole and bury you. That's it". Yet there was something that wouldn't allow me to believe that. 


My Path Began With A Psychic


One day I saw a renowned psychic on TV. She was talking about angels, spirit guides and heaven. I was so excited, because it was my first big ah-ha moment.

From that point on I began to read books, beginning with psychics. Eventually I found "The Secret", which led to books about the Law of Attraction.

If I tried to discuss any of this with anyone, they told me that I was crazy, but I just had this knowing deep inside. That led me to more books, more videos, a bit of science and quantum physics.

I sometimes felt like my brain was on overload with all of this information. No one else wanted to hear it, so that's when I began this website.


Hitting Rock Bottom


Very recently, I was listening to a video and the person said that a large number of the people, searching for the truth, had their lives fall apart between 2008 and 2012.  Bankruptcy, illness, job loss, death of family members and divorces seemed to happen for  many. That statement amazed me, because she was absolutely right.

In 2011, I had been working in a grocery store, for years. It was not my dream job, but they had great benefits, so again, it was the "smart" thing to do. I usually worked at least 25 hours a week and I was cut down to 6, for a full year. I suddenly knew how it felt to be so broke, that you don't know how to get out of it. I was constantly worried about money and extremely negative about life in general.

Weird Things Began To Happen


Then the weirdness began. Nothing "earth shattering" but definitely not everyday occurrences.

One night I was pretty upset, sitting on the couch, all alone in the house, when I felt a hand on my shoulder.  It was so calming that I wasn't even afraid.  At first I thought that I was imagining it, but it was real. 

I've also heard my father say "Hi! Barb", a number of times. It was so clear that it's as if he's standing right next to me. He's the only man who ever called me Barb, which is why I'm sure that it's him. It was then, that I knew this is not "the end".  

I've also seen the glowing energy of our truck parked in the driveway. That was freaky. I even closed the door twice, rubbed my eyes and looked out again. It was still glowing.


This Site Is About My Passion


In August 2015, I decided that working in the grocery store was not what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I gave 2 weeks notice and just quit. That was scary.

Since then, I've studied to be a certified Law of Attraction coach and I've studied Reiki.  Unfortunately, I found out that in order to do Reiki in Florida you have to be a licensed massage therapist. I also found out that "my purpose" is to be a teacher, not a healer.

I started this website to help others discover how the Universe works. Hopefully this information can get you there in less time than it's taken me.  Building this site, was my first step to take me out of my comfort zone.  I didn't have any idea how to do it, but thanks to Solo Build It  I'm pretty pleased with it.  I've also written 5 Kindle books related to the Law of Attraction:

The last book came about when I realized that we all have innate intelligence. We can all access our guidance very simply. I only wish that I had known it much sooner.  I wouldn't have spent all of the money that I did on books and courses. I could have just ASKED and received the answers.

My intention, my passion, is to raise the collective consciousness as much as I possibly can. With ascension, it's become even more important to me.
