Anxiety And Stress

We all have anxiety and stress in our lives.  I don't think that it will ever stop completely, because it's just part of this experience. Especially with ascension. Ascension is going to force all of the old garbage up to the surface in order to be released.

When something happens that upsets you, acknowledge it and accept it.  It's OK. Don't try to deny it and hold it in. Don't blame anyone else, just accept that you're feeling it. 

Take a deep breath and try your best to get back to this NOW moment. This moment is all that really exists. If your anxiety is about something that just happened, realize that it's over and it's already in the past.

If it's a worry about the future, realize that it hasn't happened yet and it may never happen. Know that if you stay there, then your worry will only attract more to worry about. The Law of Attraction is real, so if you continue to focus on it you will only attract more of the same. Try your best to reach a state of calm, then you can look at things differently. Don't try to figure it out from the same anxious state of mind that got you there.

Your own higher self, is constantly trying to SHOW you where you need to shift or make a change. So ASK, "What is this experience trying to show me? What can I learn from this?"

This is why you're here. To learn, experience and gain wisdom.

When you're stressed, it's clearly telling you that you need to relax. You may be taking on too many projects. Is there something that you can eliminate? Are you trying to take care of everyone else, rather than taking time for yourself. Are you willing to RECEIVE as much as you give? You do have the right to ask for assistance and it's not being weak. It's being a good receiver which brings you into balance.

I mentioned these statements on my self love page and I'm going to mention them here again. 

"I've decided that I am a good person, therefore I'm going to pamper myself as much as possible."

"I am not going to take responsibility for where other people are, no matter who they are, no matter how related they think that they are to me." 

Everyone is on their own journey. Everyone has their own agreements. This doesn't mean to never do anything for anyone else. If it feels good and you would really like to do it, that's fine. But unless it's a small child, it's really not your job to take care of anyone but yourself. Show them love and kindness, but again, they are on their own journey

Ask yourself what really matters to you? Are you trying to control everything? Are you trying to make everything perfect? Are you afraid that someone will get upset with you? Do you beat yourself up for not getting everything done? Is the stress worth risking your health and well being?  

Do you know that doing and controlling are masculine energy. Relaxing, clearing your mind and being creative is feminine energy. We must learn to balance the two energies

A Few Tips On Relieving Anxiety or Stress

Try to start your day on a positive note.  As you open your eyes pay very close attention to your first thoughts. Are they negative or positive? This is really important because it's a new beginning. 

Think of a few things that you're grateful for.  I just read something that said, it's been proven that people who start their day with gratitude are happier. Even if you hate your job right now, be grateful that you have one. There is always something to be grateful for.

If you have time, take a few minutes to just relax and take a few deep breaths. Focus on your breathing. Appreciate the well-being, the relaxation and the peacefulness.  

Live in the NOW. Now is where the power is. This moment is all that you can really control. 

I Didn't Believe It, Until I Tried It

I will never forget the first time that I began my day with "It's going to be a great day".  This was a long time ago and to be honest, I had my doubts.  I was a stockperson in a store at the time and I had a huge truck coming that day. As I walked to my section, all I saw were two huge pallets of small boxes and the anxiety began. I started to repeat over and over, "It's going to be a great day". 

I had been working for about 15 minutes when another employee came over and asked if she could help me. I know that my jaw dropped to my feet. She explained that there had been some mix-up and she didn't have anything to do for about 2 hours.  I remember thinking, "OMG this stuff actually works". That's when I realized that all of my anxiety was totally unnecessary and it really did turn out to be a great day.  Could the Universe have caused that mix-up?

When you change your attitude towards things and you try to find the positive instead of the negative, your life will get much easier. When you accept it as just an experience, your anxiety and stress will begin to disappear. It takes practice, but learn to just let it go.
