I'm not a physicist, but I do understand enough about the basics of quantum physics, to know that what we call reality is not what we thought. For me, it was the single, most important thing that I've ever learned. Many people believe that all of this talk about the Law of Attraction is crazy and they call it "new age", but Albert Einstein proved that everything is energy back in the early 1900's.
What fascinates me is that there are many experiments, where the results cannot be clearly explained. You hear physicists use terms like strange, mysterious, bizarre, eerie and downright weird. These are brilliant men. Why can't they explain it?
It's because scientists must use logic and mathematical equations to prove things. They must be able to explain it. Even the basics of quantum physics totally defies human logic.
If quantum mechanics hasn’t profoundly shocked you, you haven’t understood it yet. Everything we call real is made of things that cannot be regarded as real.” ~ Niels Bohr ~
The basics of quantum physics, starts with the Big Bang Theory. It's actually a highly supported theory of how the
Universe began, 13.8 billion years ago. It is believed that everything came from a singular, infinite energy field and expanded over time. Unfortunately science has no clue "why" it happened. My page called the Big Bang Theory explains it, if you're open minded.
“What one man calls God, another calls the laws of physics.” ~Nikola Tesla~
Around 1905, Einstein proved that everything is energy. The basics of quantum physics says that there is no-thing that is not energy. It's the density of Earth that makes things appear to be solid, but nothing is solid. If you don't believe this, look up Einstein, Niels Bohr, Max Planck or Fred Alan Wolf.
To clarify this, if something has consciousness, such as Mother Earth, plants, trees, animals and humans, it is still energy, but it does have a structure or form. In effect, consciousness is the glue that holds it together. It's things, objects that don't actually have structure or form.
So this is where even the very basics of quantum physics gets weird. What makes things different is how these particles of energy are grouped together. Sub-atomic particles are "probabilities of existence". They are arranged into objects, depending on our thoughts and how we interpret them. We all interpret things differently. These sub-atomic particles are the building blocks of all creation.
This energy exists as waves, spread out over time and space, until it's observed. Then these waves become localized particles at a certain time and place. As soon as you withdraw your observation, they become waves again. It's your observation, your attention and focus that create an object as a space, time event. Even basic quantum physics proves that no solid object is solid. It's made up of rapidly flashing packets of energy. In a way it's like rapidly flashing frames of a movie. It's moving so rapidly (at the speed of light) that you don't notice the gaps in between each frame. This is how you create your reality.
If you're totally new to this, then hold on. So the act of observing converts it into a physical particle in a certain space and time. As we withdraw our attention it goes back to a probability. That means that it does not exist unless we observe it. The chair that you're sitting in is not there unless you or someone else expects it to be there. When you leave, it goes back to being a probability of existence. I didn't make this up.

Remember Dr. Wayne Dyer's famous quote?
We have to learn to look at things differently, see things differently and expect them to be different.
It means that everything in your life is made up of probabilities and possibilities, based on your thoughts, emotions, perceptions, beliefs and expectations.
You are seeing what you expect to see. Which means that it's basically your own personal "illusion". In reality, it's nothing but energy.
It means that many parts of religion have been misinterpreted. It's your choice what you want to call it. It can be the Universe, God, All That Is, Source or whatever you choose. If it's an infinite energy field then it cannot judge you or punish you. We have lived in fear for thousands of years for no reason. Simply put, our ancestors were taught fear, by people who wanted to control them and keep them inside their little boxes. Think about that. Why did they kill Jesus? Why did all of Tesla's research disappear?
This also means that our soul is eternal. You may want to read the page on death.
Even more important, if everything is energy it means that nothing really has any value. Money has no value. You are the only one who gives anything it's meaning.
Energy flows. What goes out (in thoughts) flows back to you from the collective pool. This is where the Law of Attraction comes in.
We also have to understand linear thinking. Nothing is linear. Nothing is in a straight line.
Einstein summed everything up with this quote:
"There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle."
Even the very basics of quantum physics prove that "reality itself defies all common sense". There are only two absolute truths. One is that there is no beginning and there is no end. The other is that you exist.
“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” ~Nikola Tesla (1856 -1943)~
