Guilt

The definition of guilt.  A feeling of responsibility or remorse for some offense, crime or wrong, whether it be real or imagined.  It's nothing but another fear based emotion.  Everything is either love or fear based.

As I've said many times, I love to read.  Many years ago, I was reading mostly books written by psychics, but I got away from those when I learned about the Law of Attraction.  Last week, Amazon had a big sale on Kindle books.  One of the books I ran across was by the psychic, James Van Praagh.  I haven't finished it yet, but I had to stop and write this page.  It explained so much about guilt and why we all need to stop.  It's only holding us back and dragging us down.

At first, writing about information from a psychic, seemed slightly off track.  This site is about the Law of Attraction.  The more I read, the more I realized that this book fits right in.  Even though the words, "Law of Attraction" were never used, the message was exactly the same.

One example was a group of four men (spirits) who came through.  All were very happy and stood behind this man at the back of the room.  James called on the man, who seemed extremely sad.  As James began to explain about the four spirits behind him, the man immediately acknowledged the name Tucker, as one of his buddies who had passed away.  It ends up that all of them had been New York police officers, when the 9-11 attacks happened.  This sad man whose name was Mike survived, but his four buddies were killed.  Mike has lived, all these years, with horrible guilt, that he didn't die with them.  Why had he been the only one to survive?  The story goes on and your heart really breaks for this man.  Finally, this happy group, tells James that Mike was left here to save 2 more lives. Mike didn't die, because he's not finished yet.  This poor man has been broken hearted and miserable, all these years, when in the end, everything was in perfect order.

There was another story about a young woman.  Again, guilt ridden over the death of her brother.  He died of a drug overdose and she felt that it was her fault in a number of ways.  First, she introduced him to the guy who ended up selling him the drugs.  Of course, she didn't have any idea that he was....or would become a drug dealer.  Then, just hours before her brother died, he called her.  She was too busy to answer the phone and now she felt that she could have stopped him.

When James called on her and asked about her brother, she began to sob uncontrollably.  In the end, her brother conveyed to James that he was also addicted in a past life.  It was planned for him to come back in this life and become addicted again.  His experience was set, before he was even born.  He was attempting to kick the addiction and obviously he didn't succeed.  According to the brother, he will have to do it again in the next life, until he does succeed. His sister is living with all of this pain, for no reason.  It was something that her brother had to do for himself and it had absolutely nothing to do with her.

Guilt can carry over and effect your next life.  We need to get rid of it.  I personally had a few things that I felt bad about over the years, but I got over it.  To put it bluntly "shit happens".  No one is perfect.  We all make mistakes and hopefully learn a little something from them.

Everything....absolutely everything happens for a reason. There are no accidents.  No coincidences.  God/Source energy has no favorites.  No one is being punished for anything.  It's all part of the big picture.

I love this book.  Rated 4.7 out of 5 stars on Amazon.

Other Forms of Guilt

There is just so much guilt and fear in our lives that it amazes me. Do you feel bad because you work too much?  Maybe you feel that you neglect your family.  Do you feel terrible for having to put your child in daycare? How often do you feel bad for not accomplishing what you planned for the day? How often do you feel that you just aren't doing enough?  It's so sad that this is how many of us have lived our entire lives, for no reason and I include myself.

If you knew the cost of your fear, doubt, guilt and worry, you would never do any of them again. It's not worth it.  It's all about how you FEEL and you can't possibly FEEL good when you're carrying all of this excess baggage.

Speaking of excess baggage, you may want to read about ascension.
